UNIT continues investment in VFX
UNIT, one of the UK’s leading post-production and creative service companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Melody Woodford and Andrew Keep. Melody joins UNIT as VFX Producer and Head of CG Production whilst Andrew will be working in UNIT Effects.
Prior to her appointment at UNIT, Melody has worked on a large number of visual effects films and commercials for high profile companies such as The Moving Picture Company and Double Negative, with credits including X Men: The Last Stand, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Da Vinci Code, Batman Begins, Sunshine, several Harry Potter films and the Oscar winning Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
Andrew joins UNIT from his role as Art Director at Guerrilla Productions where he worked for high profile clients such as BBC, Channel 4, Bravo and Sky as well as large global agencies such as TWI, Tiger Aspect, Emap, BBH and Yahoo!. Before that he worked for Homechoice designing motion graphics for their interactive television service. His accolades include winning a D&AD silver nomination and a BAFTA for work carried out on their television service.
The appointment follows the launch of UNIT Effects in June 2007 and signifies the next step in UNIT’s development, the creation of a new cutting-edge in-house CGI facility.
