APA Collection
A celebration of the excellence of commercials made by UK production companies, the annual APA Collection features a compendium of the best 50 commercials of the year selected by a distinguished panel of judges. It’s one of the most important events in the advertising industry calendar, and we at UNIT were delighted to be celebrating with our two winning clients at this year’s gala.

DIESEL
A winner in the APA Collection was the Viral Factory’s naughty viral video SFW XXX for Diesel. UNIT provided all the online and sound design for this saucy film, which became a notorious worldwide hit when it was produced to celebrate Diesel’s 30th anniversary, and their Dirty Thirty parties.

SAMSUNG
A second winner in APA Collection was the viral, Extreme Sheep LED art for Samsung. Produced by the Viral Factory it ingeniously combines Sheep, Sheedogs and LED’s for the new LED TV range.
Shot across 2 days in the Welsh Hills 2 farmers compete through “Extreme Sheperding” using LED’s on sheep to create amazing displays. Unit edited the the Viral using Final Cut Pro.
Now with over 9 million views this Viral has been extremely successful, which you can view here.

2009 Awards
Unit has won a number of awards this year. At Promax Unit were awarded with a Gold for the second year running for the Sky+HD “Believe in Better’ campaign. Diesel SFW XXX also won a Cannes Lions Gold and a Silver was presented for The Viral Factory’s ‘Unboxing’ a viral for Samsung, also edited at Unit. “I’m delighted that we have won these prestigious awards, it’s testament to our reputation” comments CEO Adam Luckwell.
