Details
Celebrating 50 years of MTV, UNIT pitched, designed and fully executed the intro and outro for Back & Beyond. The film opens on the channel's iconic MTV astronaut, adrift in space, staring down a planet that pulses like a giant speaker. Sound waves ripple off it in place of light as the film transitions through the visor of the helmet into music video content. Returning to the astronaut mid-flight, the music now visibly moving through the astronaut drifting through the universe. The astronaut touches down to the surface of the meteor, landing by a crater shaped, unmistakably, like the MTV logo.
UNIT also designed a set of standalone bumpers for Back & Beyond, extending the anniversary look across the wider promo package.
