UNIT Delivers Post Production for the brand new SheaMoisture “Yes, And” creative campaign featuring Love Island winner Serena Page, to support and uplift a vibrant community of beautiful, textured-hair women.
UNIT has collaborated with Majority to deliver post production for SheaMoisture’s latest brand commercial and socials campaign, “Yes, And”.
SheaMoisture has partnered with pop culture’s favourite, Serena Page, winner of Love Island season 6, as the new brand ambassador and face of its “Yes, And” campaign. The video spotlights the Gen Z cultural icon as she transitions effortlessly from beachside bliss, to game night at home with the girls, to owning the red carpet, always empowered, always evolving, and always using SheaMoisture.
UNIT carried out all the post production on the commercial and socials campaign, successfully ensuring the high-end finish with a full picture post approach – delivering VFX, Grade, Design, Sound, Offline and Delivery to ensure that this Florida based beauty shoot got the maximum glow up it deserved to honour black beauty and usher in a new era.
UNIT’s creative contributions to the 1x 30″ tvc, with 1x 15″ socials cutdown were led by UNIT Executive Producer Danny Coster in collaboration with Majority’s Micöl Rankin (Group Creative Director) and Kajal Patel (Director).
The Grade was led by Denny Cooper (UNIT, Creative Director of Colour) and Harry Shelton (UNIT Colourist) with Audio Mixing by Jamie Thomas (UNIT Creative Director of Sound). VFX was carried out by UNIT’s Ian Baker and Rob Ellis while Design was covered by a team led by UNIT Matt Rowley (Lead Motion Designer). Finally, Offline work by Bryan Farrar (UNIT Editor).
Love Island winner, Serena Page said:

“It was super important to bring the human female story to life in a visually sensitive way in the new SheaMoisture’s beauty campaign. It was all about capturing the right mood in every shot of this final piece of hero content for the “Yes, And” campaign. The real fun was making the most of that Miami sunshine whilst in the midst of a storm.“
UNIT Creative Director Jamie Thomas said:
“This new Yes, And, video with Serena allowed us to subtly showcase her moving from beachside bliss, to a red carpet, to a night in with the girls. Serena’s voiceover had to be the clear focus of our attention, so the sound mix could not be too dynamic or compete with the narration in any way. Each moment of the video resonates with Serena’s Love Island fanbase and reflects SheaMoisture’s core brand values.”
