UNIT Completes Colour Grade for Nike FIFA: The Match of Giants.

UNIT has completed the Colour Grade for Nike FIFA: The Match of Giants, written and directed by Brent Bonacorso.

The film follows a young man who ventures out to join a gathering that is ceremony, ritual, and competition, pulsing with the energy of a match too large for any stadium.

Shot with tactile intimacy and grounded in cinematic realism, at once intimate and epic, it’s a portrait of youth, tradition, and the human urge to transcend via sport, told with the raw immediacy of vérité cinema.

UNIT’s Creative Director of Colour Denny Cooper said ”Grading AI brings a whole new set of challenges, as at the moment you kind of get what you get re colours and there’s not much latitude to play with either. So it’s a case of matching all the shots on the first couple of run throughs and then creating a look that compliments and enhances the film!”
