UNIT Delivers AI-Assisted Post Production for Marionnaud’s New Beauty Film
UNIT has completed post production on a new campaign for Paris-based luxury cosmetics brand Marionnaud, combining traditional craft with AI-assisted visual effects to create an emotionally resonant short film.
The piece, centred around the brand’s new premium cosmetics range Marionnaud 1984, explores the connection between generations through moments of discovery, reflection, and beauty. UNIT’s post production team used AI-generated flashbacks to bridge timelines, juxtaposing the elegance of a model with the innocence of a young girl experimenting with make-up for the first time.
The resulting film achieves a seamless balance between cinematic storytelling and emotional nostalgia. By blending AI-assisted techniques with traditional grading and compositing, UNIT delivered a look that feels organic, human, and deeply tactile.
Through this collaboration, UNIT has demonstrated how intelligent workflows can support artistic storytelling, using technology to serve the emotion of the narrative rather than define it.
