UNIT Works Across Short Film Shortlisted for BIFA Qualifying Film Festivals

Short film, Alone, has been officially selected for two upcoming film festivals: Short Sighted Cinema – The Shortest Nights in London and Moonstep International Short Film Festival in Turin.

Screening at Rich Mix on 9 September 2025, Short Sighted Cinema is a BIFA-qualifying festival now in its 11th year, known for spotlighting bold British short-form storytelling.

Moonstep runs from 19–21 September 2025, with Alone’s screening date to be confirmed. Based in Italy, the festival champions emerging European directors.

UNIT collaborated with Affecting Films to create Alone, a psychological short starring Lucy Doyle, written and directed by Shian Denovan. The film explores loneliness and human disconnect in modern society.
