Harvey’s Monthly Music Picks – Going to go ahead and claim this as the best soul album ever, ever, ever. Regarded as a ‘holy grail’ by soul and R&B by critics, this bitter-sweet masterpiece never really picked up and attention until years after Moses passed away which is the saddest thing! ‘Hey Joe’ and ‘California Dreaming’ are the standout songs for me with Lee’s warming vocals taking you on two pretty moving journeys.
