UNIT Film & TV Completes Full Picture Post on Amazon’s Highly Anticipated Thriller Malice Starring David Duchovny & Jack Whitehall

UNIT FILM & TV delivered Full Picture Picture-Post and VFX for MALICE, the highly anticipated psychological thriller starring David Duchovny set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on the 14th of November. 

MALICE tells the gripping story of Adam Healey, a charming “manny” who infiltrates the wealthy Tanner family with potentially sinister intentions. The narrative weaves through London and Greece, revealing dark family secrets, manipulation, and betrayal as Adam’s mysterious vendetta against Jamie Tanner unravels.

Jack Whitehall (Bad Education) stars as Adam Healey, with David Duchovny (The X-Files) playing Jamie Tanner and Carice van Houten (Game of Thrones) as Nat Tanner, Jamie’s wife. The cast also includes Harry Gilby (Tolkien), Teddie-Rose Malleson-Allen (Swallows and Amazons), and Phoenix Laroche (Trying) as their three children. Additional cast members include Christine Adams (Hijack) as Nat’s best friend Jules, Raza Jaffrey (Homeland) as Jules’ husband Damien, and newcomers Rianna Kellman and Jade Khan as Jules and Damien’s daughters.

Written and Executive Produced by James Wood (Rev., The Great), Directed by Mike Barker (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Leonora Lonsdale (Becoming Elizabeth), Executive Produced by Tim Hincks (Expectation) and Imogen Cooper, MALICE is a Co-Production of Expectation Entertainment and Tailspin Films for Amazon Prime Video. Filming took place over 18 weeks, beginning in London in February 2024 and concluding on the picturesque island of Paros, Greece, in July 2024.

The studio’s meticulous approach to longform post-production ensured that MALICE achieved a visually stunning and immersive aesthetic, perfectly complementing the show’s intense and suspenseful narrative.
