UNIT Film & TV opened in 2022 and offers full picture-post production and visual effects for features, high-end TV drama & comedy.

Our expertise lies in 4K HDR colour grading, conform, online & online VFX to complement UNIT Studios’ high-end VFX and CGI services. UNIT Film & TV boasts a fully integrated, craft-led, end-to-end offering, all under one roof. Our goal is to deliver “best in class” creativity alongside a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and the personal touch that only a boutique facility like UNIT can deliver.

History

UNIT began in January 2006 as an offline editing facility based in Carlisle Street. Within 18 months the company had expanded into the adjacent building to offer a total of 18 suites, a 12 seat motion graphics studio, 2 Pro Tools audio suites and a grading suite with Apple Colour. 

As the company thrived and continued to grow, UNIT collaborated on VFX for film and episodic for brands such as Amazon, Sky, Disney and Apple TV. Their first project Britannia was nominated for a BAFTA. After a stint in Great Marlborough Street, in 2019 UNIT moved once again to Berners Mews, Fitzrovia expanding the studio, adding a second grading suite and more flame suites. Shortly after, the company started it’s longform picture post division “Film & TV” offering grade and online working on projects such as Vera, Whitstable Pearl, Consecration and Devil’s Promise.
