Harry Shelton

Junior Colourist

Harry’s career in colour started (like so many others) with a passion for photography. He joined UNIT in 2017 as a production runner where his enthusiasm for stills branched out into moving pictures. He progressed to MCR, then to grade assist, and is now regarded as one of the best junior colourists in London. His love for portraiture, especially, guides his colour palette – delivering immaculate skin tones and tasteful, honest colour to everything he grades, from music promos and short films to branded content and commercials.

Aside from his love of photography, Harry lists fashion, architecture and the footy (Nottingham Forest) as his main distractions.

His colour influences are varied and diverse –  Stefan Sonnefeld, Asa Shoul, Tom Poole, Jean-Clément Soret and of course, UNIT’s own head of colour, Denny Cooper.

In an ever changing industry, Harry knows there is something new to learn everyday. He enjoys working collaboratively with directors, and in this spirit commits to every single project with enthusiasm and focus to deliver the finest work possible.
